Academic career and teaching activities

I am Professor of Economics at the School of International Studies and the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento, in Italy. Also, I am Research Fellow at the Department for Research on Innovation and Competition (DRIC) of the Observatoire Français des Conjonctures Économiques (OFCE) in France, where I worked as an Economist from 2006 to early 2008.

I earned a PhD in Economics and Management from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa (Italy) in June 2005.

Last but not least, I am the proud father of Maria, Anna and Caterina.
