The main aim of the work will be to determine the mode of action of bacterial biocontrol agent effective in controlling Erwinia amylovora, the causal agent of fire blight disease. The main actvities will consist in: -Production of knock-out mutants -Identification of genes involved in the biocontrol of Erwinia amylovora -Characterization of knock-out mutants -Biocontol trials in greenhouse |
